DAHDI_DUMMY install fails on a Pi with ASL 1,01

Following instructions on the WIKI page, I did the ’ hold ', then tried the next line: apt-get install gcc raspberrypi-kernel-headers make vim git.

I get this response: package vim is not available, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only available from another source. ???

try sudo apt-get update
then sudo apt install vim

YES. That was followed explicitly.

If you are still at this…
Download new image and burn to a fresh new sd card.
Then follow direction per readme ‘very important first thing’
