Nobody can provide a fix having less info than you to know what is wrong.
Perhaps start with this...
Thank you... Looked at these and they do not appear to be the problem. What information can I provide?
The node shows as registered with a comcast ip address using a port of 4570
But asl stats show you are using port 4569
This will not work.
Sounds like a conf issue. Perhaps that leads you to an answer ?
If you changed it, did you save and restart the software?
I attempted a connection and it failed.
What is AURsync ? It seems to be a package manager ? Why did you need that?
What version of software are you using ?
I am showing both places ports to be 4570
I did restart. I changed the port in an attempt to resolve.
Aursinc is the type of node I am using. Same as SHARI etc
https://stats.allstarlink.org/api/stats/64739
64739=radio@73.57.247.213:4570/64739,73.57.247.213
changed the port to what and where did you change it ?
Is port(s) you had or changed it to open in firewall ?
Changed to 4570 Changed on Allstarlink server and in Asterisk IAX
I just changed them back to 4569 in AS server and asterisk
I think your issues start in your cable modem/router/firewall.
I can't tell you what to look for, but look it over.
You might also try to reboot the modem/router/server in that order.
And/Or verify the IP is correct.
Are you using asl v3 or what are you using?
I am thinking the same. How should I have the port forwarding set?
Using ALLMON 3
Thanks!!
If you are using prt 4569 as your IAX port, the router should be set up to forward port 4569 UDP to the IP address of your node.
Port forwarding does not effect outbound connects.
Just tells the inbound where in the local network to send requests for that port.
It's unclear whether we are fixing inbound or outbound connections from the thread so far but firewall settings will kill both.
