I help run a hub node and would like to be able to turn off the connect/disconnect announcements, however I have tried a few options and they still play..
I have tried telemdefault 0, I have also tried the cop commands (cop,33 as well as cop,37) and in the end, they are still playing. Is there something I am missing? Does this not apply to hub nodes that are running the pseudo rxchannel?
Telemetry will still pass, so if someone is connected to your hub, and they have telemetry announcements enabled, they will still hear it. The exception is with Phone connections, where you can turn those off on your end.
If you don't ever need to send audio files from your hub, just set duplex to 0, and comment out any idrecording and idtalkover lines.

You did do a reboot when you telemdefault=0 ??
telemdefault=0
I also did this
holdofftelem = 0 ; Hold off all telemetry when signal is present on receiver or from connected nodes
plus duplex=0
Don't need telemetry, or tones anything else from the HUB if there is no radio connected to it.
Ok that’s good.. just making sure.
This is cloud hub or pc with no radio equipment attached to it?
This should have stopped any connections to the hub not to be broadcasted to any connected node.
Have you tried duplex 0 (zero)?
