connect by command line?

How do I connect via command line instead of via tones? I had this info at one time but cannot find it now . thanks Johnny KD5LWU

The easy way is to get a copy of "putty" or any ssh shell program.

Use your node specifics... IP and PORT 222 for a SSH session.

Same as being at the console.

From the asterisk cli:

rpt fun 1999 *32000

rpt cmd 1999 ilink 3 2000

From Linux root prompt:

asterisk -rx "rpt fun 1999 *32000"

asterisk -rx "rpt cmd 1999 ilink 3 2000"

assuming:

The node you want to command: 1999

The node you want to connect to: 2000

Your DTMF connect commandf is *3
