At first I thought this was a Trixie problem but when I put the latest updates on a Bookworm node it appeared there too.
From the Cockpit: Accounts and Services both re-paint the screen rapidly preventing use.
My guess is this happened sometime in December.
These are all using the pi appliance on RPi4

I cannot recreate this behavior. What browser are you using?

I have been using Firefox forever.
I just tried Chrome(totally unsecure) and it does not occur.
Now to see what has changed in Firefox....

I found that Firefox had turned on a lot of features in the last update. I turned off things like picture in picture, show touchscreen, etc that I did not have on before and the issue seems to have gone away.
Warning to Firefox users: check your settings.

Interesting. Yes, Firefox does cycle on that. Looks like this is a known issue with Cockpit:

bug

### Explain what happens
1. Login to any Cockpit (Redhat) portal using Firefox
… 2. Go to Services page
3. Perpetual reload appearing to be js-triggered
**Actual results:**
The Services page is stuck in a reloading loop that never ends.
Other portal's sections are fine.
**Expected results:**
The Services page should load once and be usable.
Firefox v143 does not seem affected. Versions in-between have not been tested.
### Version of Cockpit
351
### Where is the problem in Cockpit?
Services page
### Server operating system
Fedora
### Server operating system version
42
### What browsers are you using?
Firefox
LibreWolf (same problem)
### System log
```shell
```
Edit: As suggested by @sacc-leo , a workaround would be to hit CTRL+R during the refreshing madness and it should stop.
This will persist until the tab is closed. The problem comes back with new tabs.

Looks like it's an issue with uBlock Origin. I have that in Firefox. I disabled it for my node's host and it works fine.

I have no idea what "uBlock Origin" is or how to disable it. If its an add on, I do not have it installed.
The only fix I found was to click the Reload Current Page and it stops the constant re-load.
