No, you cannot ping register.allstarlink.org. We don't permit that to save on bandwidth transfer charges. However pinging the site has nothing to do with you being able to register or not. What is the output of rpt show registrations from the Asterisk CLI?
Since posting that last night/ this morning I started over so I can’t answer that right now, but I will post that if I still have a problem. I probably did something wrong when I set it all up as I had to make changes in 2 or 3 of the configuration files that probably should have been taken care of during the initial setup
This is probably a stupid question but if that’s not possible then why is it one of the options in the asl-menu? I believe it’s under diagnostics , right under pinging Google (8.8.8.8)?

We recently replaced our "old" registration servers and the "Diagnostics Menu" has not yet caught up with the configuration change.

Okay. Thanks for clearing that up. This is all new to me and I’m finding out that I didn’t go through all of the settings so I’m going through all of those now at a very slow pace. I want to make sure I understand what I’m choosing not just following a YouTube video blindly. I’m probably going to have more questions so I appreciate all of your help. Thanks again.
