I am not sure why the landing pages using SSL but the link pages do not. It would be great if we could get the status pages and the CGI generated images authenticated with SSL so we can securely link to our clubs webpage that uses SSL as most sites tend to do in 2020.

SSL isn’t needed for this application as nothing on that server is considered sensitive. And it could cause more issues with some of the legacy nodes that are posting to it.
You can instead use https://github.com/atmos/camo or something similar to route the images you are tryni to display through SSL for your site.
