Buttons missing from Supermon

Our Allstar node is online and working, so now I’m working on setting up Supermon. When I first started it, there were various buttons for viewing and managing connections. But now, it seems I broke Supermon. The buttons are gone. I have no idea what I changed, even after comparing my allmon.ini file to the allmon.ini.example file.

Here is my allmon.ini…

[51860]
host=127.0.0.1:5038
user=admin
passwd=...
menu=yes
hideNodeURL=no

[lsNodes]
url="/cgi-bin/lsnodes_web?node=51860"
menu=yes

[HAMVOIP]
url="http://HamVOIP.org"
menu=yes

I can log in, but I still have no buttons.
Where did I go wrong? Thanks.

Don

I can’t speak to Supermon but in Allmon the file is named allmon.ini.php

You may want to join the Supermon group and ask your question there…

This was a long time ago, but I thought I would add what I just found. This was the first good match to my search….So hopefully others will find also.

As soon as I finished configuring allmon.ini, I also lost the bar with all my Nodes …. After much checking and not finding anything, I started over with the original allmon.ini and the bar came back. I added one thing at a time until it disappeared again, and it turned out to be my passwd!!! I had a “$” in my passwd and that was killing the bar. Changed my passwd in all three places (allmon.ini, manager.conf, and htpasswd) and I am now up and running fine….. There may be other special characters that cause this… But it is something to look at.

Hope this helps someone in the future.
