I've been working on an iOS AllStarLink client called OpLine and I'm looking for beta testers from the community.
The short version: it's a native iPhone app for connecting to AllStar nodes: push-to-talk, monitor-only mode, net schedule with alerts, and favorites. Built around ASL3 since.
What's in the TestFlight build now:
- Connect / monitor / PTT to any AllStar node
- Mic lock for hands-free operation
- Live RX/TX telemetry and connection status
- Net schedule with regional filters and pre-net alerts
- Saved favorites with grouping
What I'd especially like feedback on:
- Connection reliability across node types (Pi ASL3, SHARI, ClearNode, others)
- Audio quality on cellular vs WiFi
- Net schedule accuracy and how the filtering feels in practice
- Anything that breaks during real net participation
Requirements: valid FCC license and callsign, an iPhone, and a node you can connect to. ASL3 strongly preferred but I'd like to hear about edge cases on older setups too.
