I purchased a Baofend BF-F8HP. I can transmit but the tones generated by the keyboard do not access any nodes. Does anyone have a working configuration for this radio? I have an Anytone 878 tthat works fine, but I can’t get the BF-F8HT to work on ASL.
Your issue most likely is the audio level at the reciver on asl
or
the level of dtmf tone at the tx radio.
Not likely a configuration issue, except for usb-audio settings and there is no one size fits all.
You can watch live by running asterisk in the foreground to verify what tones it is seeing -
asterisk -rvvv
