Trying to due a install using AutoSky Skywarn for hamvoip.
I go to https:alerts.weather.gov to acquire my county code
which does not exist. Say to click on ATOM link.
Instead it ask for Long and Lat and give a different
statement using the lat and long. Will this work in replace of
the county code for this to work?

upgrade to SkywarnPlus. In the folder /usr/local/bin/SkywarnPlus you will find a file CountyCodes.md look for your code there and DO NOT CHANGE THE FILE just copy your code. Apparently, skywarnPlus uses that file all CC are in there.
This email went out 3/25/24 and I can’t speak to it as I don’t use it.
AutoSky has been updated at hamvoip.
This is to correct a problem of alert clearing that sometimes occurs.
If you are already using AutoSky it will update through hamvoip updates,
item 1 of the menu. If you install it in the future the updated file will be included.
