Hello. I have set up a hub node on a VPS for a group to use. When I connect to a friend through the hub, he says the audio is bad. Connecting direct is ok. Are there audio settings that can be tweaked on the pseudo/dahdi setup, or is it probably a network connection issue? I’m puzzled. The only difference is if we’re connected through the hub or direct.

Hello Adam,
The audio is entirely digital thru all nodes including hub nodes. There is nothing to set. I suspect it’s packet loss or poor performance of the VPS.
There is a test you can do that might tell us how the VPS is doing. At the linux CLI do dahdi_test. Let run for 5 or 6 lines then do control-c. You want to see above 99.9% or so. Feel free to post the results here if you like.
