Audio problem with URI

I can pass audio out to the network but I can’t receive anything more than a dead carrier. I unplugged the URI using a test amplifier and had the system send some system ID and time messages. I get nothing out of the URI. I probed pins 22 and 23 is this a URI issue ( New out of the box ) or something in software ??

Please tell us about the system… new ACID build on a new computer? If so, it could be an incompatibility with of CentOS and the computer chip set.

Have you used the uridiag test routine from the dmk website to test the URI on the same computer? Remember to stop asterisk before executing uridiag. They both want control of Linux.

Thanks,
Bob

Update. I tested the URI here at work on a machine and it works.

I just realized this is a URIx is there anything different on the setup ?

I will hook it back up tonight and reboot the machine

If your version of app_rpt is an older one, then it may not have the
newer driver to support the sound fob inside of the URIx so try
updating to a newer / latest version and check it again.
