Is there a way now or will there be a way to get to the landing page for ASL3 on a cloud server?
The one that has the web admin portal, node links and asl manual.
thank you and 73

You can install asl3-pi-appliance
on a standard Debian box. It will work (with a few spurious errors because it’s not a Pi) but keep in mind it’ll take over the whole system. You also have to make sure you’re using a standard Debian 12 installation with a normal kernel and kernel headers setup. There’s some VPSs that have a “cloud” kernel that is incompatible with ASL3.
I put one on vultr.com and followed the directions by Ham Radio Crusader on Youtube.
Yes, I did one as well.
Use deb12 and the instructions in the manual
Thank you.
I see it on the webpage
But dont see how to install it.
AllStarLink Package Repo Install
Once your Debian system is up and running, install the ASL package repositories:
cd /tmp
wget https://repo.allstarlink.org/public/asl-apt-repos.deb12_all.deb
sudo dpkg -i asl-apt-repos.deb12_all.deb
sudo apt update
ASL3 Packages Install
Now the packages may be installed and updated directly from the AllStarLink package repository:
sudo apt install asl3
