Hello,
I decided to upgrade from Hamvoip to ASL3 running on Debian 12 on a Lenovo Thinkcentre M710Q with 4 nodes.
404240 is on UHF simplex (Motorola CM200)
404241 is on VHF simplex (Motorola CM200)
404242 is on 220 simplex (Retevis RT9000)
404243 has repeater builder RL-20 - tone remote - Zetron dispatch console ( Believe it or not, i used to have a working Motorola Centracom II Console !)
The computer has 2 USB ports on the front and 4 ports on the back. I was able to connect the radios/console up to the appropriate USB ports however, when i restart asterisk, the ports keep changing.
Is there a way to make each port the same so when Asterisk is restarted, the ports wont change?
Can you run the output of asl-find-sound, reboot, and then run it again and provide both results. I suspect what’s happening is your system has two USB root hubs and at initialization they don’t start in the same order every time.

After shuffling the USB cables around so that the correct node number matches the correct radio, i rebooted the computer and restarted asterisk. it seems to not change the USB ports around.
