ASL3: 3 nodes on 1 RPi3b+ only 1 node connects to client

i have installed ASL3 on my RPi3b+ board. i am using dvsm to connect from my android phone to the asl3 Pi. i have 3 nodes on the pi, 1 attached to mobile radio via uri. the other 2 nodes are radioless hub nodes. i have accounts setup on dvsm for each of the 3 nodes. I set-up the 3 nodes via the asl-menu to add nodes. after initial setup i could not connect to any of the nodes. i then changed portaddr in iax.conf to 0.0.0.0 to be able to connect to the node with radio via uri. The 2 wireless nodes give error of invalid node number. all 3 nodes are registered on allstar and can control via allmon3. the server port is 4569. can i have 3 nodes on 1 server like prior setup on other system? it did work before.

answer is apparently the default stanza used in extensions.conf by DVSM is written to only use the primary node. I often connect to nodes where I do not want the RF sent out and like to connect to my radio-less node to bypass the transmitter node.

This worked on my previous setup. :frowning: guess I’m going back until this can be done.

It sounds like you just need to customize extensions.conf for your special use case. There shouldn’t be anything inherently blocking what you’re trying to do other than the stock config isn’t setup out-of-the-box to do it. But I know there are many people doing multi-node installs and using IAX2 clients on different nodes without issue.

Thank you
Can someone please share a copy of the file(s) that need to be edited. I only have old set up from other system and copying the code won’t work.
