ASL2 Beta Tail Messages

I found the ’ tailmessage ’ statements are in the wrong place. They must be located within the node stanza to work.

On my virgin install of the Intel Beta3 the tailmessage statements are within the [1999] node stanza.

less -N rpt.conf

Looks like a new Pi Beta came out today. Is that where you found this?

This is on the ASL2.0 Beta release. The tailmessage statements were just below the ’ nodenames = ’ and ’ extnodes ’ statements.

I’m using a bone stock rpt.conf from ASL 1.01.

I just looked in my beta.3 PI and it looks like they’re in the correct place.

Those are comments remarking on the undocumented (at the time) state of the commands. AND they are still within the [1999] node stanza.

“Trouble is leaving here ok”.

I am running 2 nodes on the a Single Pi, so my rpt.conf has 2 node stanzas. I use the tailmessages for weather announcements. If I leave the statements where they are, I get NO tail messages. When I move them up into the node stanza just above ’ hangtime ', it works. And yes, I did uncomment the lines.
