ASL/app_rpt on VPS "Cloud" Kernels

I’ve finally had the chance to do some testing and documentation on the topic of “cloud” kernels associated with VPS hosts. How to get ASL3/app_rpt working on a VPS host that uses the Debian Linux cloud image as the base is now available here:

Additionally, the installation instructions now include updated information on installing on a VPS that point to this information.

Have a look at Debian 12 Install where you will see the following note :

Previous Issues with Cloud Kernels

As of DAHDI Linux 3.4.0-5, as released from AllStarLink, no longer has conflicts with the Debian "cloud" kernels and is fully supported.
