ASL 2.0 beta with two nodes

Then setup here is ASL 2.0 Beta on a Pi4, one USB is using a DMK interface with a radio that links to a remote repeater, the other DMK interface on a second USB is connected to a radio in simplex on 146.530
When both nodes (Node 575050 repeater link radio and node 1000 simplex radio) are linked together within asterisk, users on both ends (simplex and repeater) can talk to each other no problem.

A user coming via the internet from a remote ASL node (5777770) can hear both stations (the one on the simplex node and the one on the repeater node) but the users on both nodes cannot hear the user coming in from the internet node 577770 or any other node via internet. Once the internal ASL link between nodes 1000 and 575050 is deactivated only then the users in the repeater link can hear the remote nodes coming in via the internet.

Any ideas what are we missing in the ASL configuration?
Thanks in advance

You likely can do this on a Pi3 without issue.
But on a Pi4, you will need ASL3
