Anyone successfully using RTCM with DIAL?

After a great deal of testing, I’ve narrowed my RTCM problem down to DIAL. Is anyone using an RTCM (either as a voter, or preferably, as a non-voting mix client) on a DIAL box?

Mine is working perfectly on ACID, but move the config over to DIAL, modify the modules.conf (since they are quite different) and I lose the ability to repeat. All audio generated from any other source (telemetry, link audio, etc coming from server) successfully transmits over the RTCM, but any audio coming FROM the RTCM receiver does not get repeated back the RTCM transmitter.

I’ve been digging deep into this for a few weeks but am now running out of leads.

I’d love to talk to anyone that is successfully using an RTCM on DIAL, that has a transmitter connected to it as well.

Thanks all.

James,

I know that Mark from MicroNode is running it on DIAL. But that's on

a RPi2. I don’t have a RTCM here to test with.

Well group,

I got this all working. I am working with Steve, N4IRS to narrow down what changes I’ve made that caused it to work, but the short answer is is that it was simply a config file issue and had nothing to do with DIAL itself.

I’ll post again once I’ve determined exactly which option in the config did the trick so others in the future can benefit. Thank you all that offered suggestions and help, and more importantly, a huge Thanks to Steve for building DIAL for us! I am very excited to ditch CentOS and move to an operating system that is rock solid and whose future isn’t controlled by a corporate giant!

Thanks all,

I have not set up multiple receivers yet, just the master site that transmits and receives and am using an RTCM with DIAL.

It works fine tested on my LAN and the Dial is successfully telling the RTCM to transmit and receive. (Repeat back audio)

When the DRC gets another RTCM for the project, I will let you know how DIAL votes.

Let me know if you want my conf files, I haven't done anything special to my knowledge.

Now that I think about it, I actually switched from DIAl to w0jrl's Debian build to test it out on my hardware for him. I can't remember if the RTCM worked before that or not.

As James posted earlier, The RTCM works fine with DIAL. I know that Mark at Micro-Node is running RTCM on DIAL RPi2.
