Very interesting! Thanks!

I just completed a major refactoring to fix a lot of issues, plus added install, uninstall, upgrade and repair scripts. Please follow the README.md on the repository, and it’ll take care of the rest. Good luck and enjoy!

How does one deploy this? Simply install over an existing ASL3 installation?

Sounds interesting. Played with using a node as a standalone repeater controller, but felt it was a little limited, so I am still using traditional repeater controllers with the ASL nodes tied to a link port. If this would sort of mimic an older ACC, CAT, LinkComm, SCOM etc. controller, this may be fun to play with.

For best results, I would recommend starting from scratch. This package puts in a rpt.conf file that it can manage and manipulate, as it does routine sed replacements of parameters and reloads so you have a perpetual running state. Installation is as simple as following the README.md; you will do a git clone and run the install.sh script–it will help you with the rest. Let me know if the instructions are unclear, misleading, confusing or ambiguous, and I’ll straighten anything out you have concerns about.

Hi John,

I had to install git in order to complete the installation.
sudo apt install git -y

Starting to play with it. Making some progress.
