Hi all,
I've published a project that lets you use the Yaesu HRI-200 (the WIRES-X interface) as the radio interface for an AllStarLink 3 node on a Raspberry Pi.
The catch with the HRI-200 is that it has no CM108/CM119 chip, so the standard ASL3 drivers (SimpleUSB/USBRadio) won't work with it. The approach here is a bridge daemon that speaks the HRI-200's own serial protocol and presents the radio to app_rpt through the USRP channel driver (chan_usrp).
What's included:
- Installer script for a clean Raspberry Pi OS Lite 64-bit
- Bridge daemon between the HRI-200 and ASL3
- Web control panel for all node configuration (no asl-menu required)
- Support for the FTM-400D and FT-7800R
Tested and working with two-way audio to other nodes.
