Installing ASL2 requires Debian 10 (Buster), which is no longer updated/maintained. Are you sure you want to go down that rabbit hole?
What issues are you having with ASL3?
Are you using a Raspberry Pi? an x86_64/amd64 device? a VM?
Are you trying to interface with a radio? and, if so, what audio adapter are you using?

For one the node remote was not working. But you responded *Resolved
When it does run it never connects to a Node like 55553 parrot node or any of them. Resolved connected directly via ethernet
I use a Shari pi HAT (I wonder if there FW update) Awaiting a reply
51C is not terribly hot for a Pi, especially if you only have passive cooling.
OK, Supermon is no longer available?
Supermon is not an AllStarLink application. The AllStarLink application for node control is Allmon3 as documented in the manual.
