Allmon3 Fresh Install

Hello there it’s me again Joseph,

I was able to setup and configure the supermon 7.4 within Allmon3 few days ago but today I did the same procedure and followed the youtube video from Freddie Mac but somehow when I get to the section to install this on >>>>
/usr/local/sbin# supermonASL_fresh_install
-bash: /usr/local/sbin/supermonASL_fresh_install: Permission denied

Does anyone experienced this issue and is there any fix on this? I need some help please!

I’m not a great help as I don’t use either. Looks like a OS level error.

Sounds like a ownership/rights issue of the file or
did you use sudo

In Web Portal Admin before you open the teminal click on “turn on administrative access” at the top of the page.

Did you run the command beginning with sudo?

Guys thanks for all the replies, I finally got my answer. The issue is the chmod +x supermonASL_fresh_install < I just had to use chmod +rx insted of just the x which is the “r” gives me permission to read and the “x” means make the file executable.
