Re: [App_rpt-users] allmon2 setup Login issues
Do you have a user called admin defined in the .htpasswd file?

If not you will need that. Also do not forget the other definable file which permits you to define the functions you want to make available. You should not need to change the login.php file.

Re: [App_rpt-users] allmon2 setup Login issues
This one:

Edit controlpanel.ini.php for your desired commands. Be sure to keep the

labels and the cmds tags in assoicated pairs.

These become available when you login successfully.

The .htpasswd file must remain in the same directory where you put allmon. The file is created with the Apache utility called htpasswd. The syntax is shown below.

for example: htpasswd -c .htpasswd admin

then pick a password.

[root@wd6awp allmon]# htpasswd ?

Usage:

htpasswd [-cmdpsD] passwordfile username

htpasswd -b[cmdpsD] passwordfile username password

htpasswd -n[mdps] username

htpasswd -nb[mdps] username password

-c Create a new file.

-n Don’t update file; display results on stdout.

-m Force MD5 encryption of the password.

-d Force CRYPT encryption of the password (default).

-p Do not encrypt the password (plaintext).

-s Force SHA encryption of the password.

-b Use the password from the command line rather than prompting for it.

-D Delete the specified user.

On Windows, NetWare and TPF systems the ‘-m’ flag is used by default.

On all other systems, the ‘-p’ flag will probably not work.
