Alinco DR-235T to DMK URI wiring

Did a quick search and couldn't find anything. Changing radios on my node to an Alinco DR-235T and DMK URIx (9095 model). Node is using usbradio.conf. Need the pin-to-pin wiring, from the Alinco DB9 to the URI DB25, appreciated. Thanks.

You should probably go to DMK site for it's model wiring.

I already have the schematic for the URI; I went to DMK first for wiring info for the Alinco to the URI and they pointed me to this forum. Thanks for the info Mike. However what I was looking for were specifics, simple instructions for a simpleton like me...i.e. Pin 5 (ground) of the DR-235 DB9 goes to Pin 20 (ground) of the DMK URIx...etc...specifics like that.

Have you looked in your manual and the service manual for the radio to determine what the pins are for your needs? Also, have you looked at the pin out on the db25 on the URi to know what pins it needs. You also need to measure your pins to make sure you are connecting to the right pin for COS (carrier operated switch). It is not rocket science to figure out. NO, I will not do the work for you. But, as I read the manual, test pin 6 on the radio to see if it goes to ground or goes high with voltage when you transmit. Have fun being a Ham and working it out.

Yes, I realize it isn't rocket science, and I can certainly figure it out on my own; I've made hundreds of cables in my nearly 50 years in ham radio (although I don't enjoy it) so it isn't something I'd have a big problem with. I was simply trying to connect with someone who has already hooked up this particular radio/URI combo, to check what worked for them, and any specific tips and tricks they might have. As I mentioned, I have wiring diagrams for both the radio and the URI, just trying to save some time getting to the end result...having the radio work properly on my node.

Function Alinco DB9 Pin DMK-URI DB25 Pin
COS (Carrier Operated Squelch) 1 8
RX Audio (Receive Audio) 4 21
GND (Ground) 5 19 or 20
PTT (Push-to-Talk) 7 1
TX Audio (Transmit Audio) 9 22

My 2 cents worth. If you have the pin out for both devices, and you aren't disabled and if you have a jumper wire and a volt meter. It should take no more than about 15 minutes to figure out what pins go where.
We have a lot of hams that got their ham license recently by taking a memory test. Put your brain to work and figure it out. I have 10 nodes and 5 different interfaces for them but I dont have what you have I have Pi zero 2 w interfaced to an AIOC, a Techno by Bob i even have a few different interfaces with radios built in. I'm not especially smart but I am a ham.
