Hi there,
What a great idea, I will ask my son who is currently doing a PhD in AI Safety in the UK about it & see what he thinks.

EDIT: He answer was “Yes”, just now need to find someone with the time to do it. (Unfortunately he has not enough hours in the day ATM.)

You do not need AI. Do it like we have for years. You have several listen to it thru out the day and night and then when someone does something they should not be doing, record it for your records and give them a warning. If they continue, then send it to the FCC to have them sent a letter to stop using your system. If they do not then it is their license they are risking to lose.
There is already a fix for this. It's called "control ops".
Machine learning algorithms (improperly referred to as "AI") require a huge amount of energy. Especially when fed a constant stream of data such as audio from a radio system. One of the biggest problems in technology these days is that "AI" is thought to be the solution for all problems, and ends up being a massive waste of energy and resources most of the time.
The functionality would be neat if it were powered by a free energy machine.
Most of our ‘ Senior ‘ members have passed away, and existing members have jobs and cannot monitor. I’m sure I am not the only trustee facing this problem.
What about a timed message with contact email to report missuse, let your users help you.
Our main repeater I stream to Broadcastify which will do a nice audio archive for you. In the few cases a question about behavior has arisen, I've gone to the archive there and pulled down the audio in question. Our operating policy for all repeaters is "report issues to the trustee (me) when they arise".
Paying the compute bill for always-on AI monitoring and speech to text services of a repater would be very very costly.
Hi all
On ANZEL (https://anzel.radio/) we use a program called EchoPCUser + Conference Ctrl to control the EchoLink side of things but we also have Admins all around the world that monitor our system 24/7 + we record all traffic as well.
There has got to be a better way of doing this, I am still talking to my Son about this problem.

I did find this: GitHub - Wintergrasped/KK7NQN-TranscriptionLogger: Transcribe and Log HAM Radio Traffic. There is a description of the service down the page here: Zero Retries 0217
Your repeater is open to the Public. Why not have others help you moderate it. They do not have to be part of your group to help police the air waves like we all should be doing and helping people to understand how to use it and prevent interference to the system. Properly educate and help it grow instead of being stuck under 1 person or 1 group to control.
