I used these macros in the past to switch hubs. The “*76” doesnt seem to work on ASL 3.
Any suggestions?

The commands are commented
They are not separated by a space when posting multiple
There are no changes with asl3 on macro use
I beg to differ. Try *76 it does not disconnect all…
Show the 76= in your files.
If you manually issue a *76 what does it do ?
Your first problem is the use of format in declaring macro strings.
Your second issue is having the command correct that you want to issue.
The command has to exist and it must be formatted correct and not be commented out.
Not sure why you think my format is wrong…if you look at my 2nd post the photo shows i uncommented the proper thing and my macros now work…
It would have been easier to show you, had you posted text and not a screen image.
There are no separations between commands. I did say that earlier. And I have no idea if you corrected it. You did not say.
Did you read the wiki link I posted on the subject ? There is no format change with asl3
Default commands have changed from previous versions that you might be trying to execute inside the macro. Did you review your command tree yet ?
I can’t really comment on *76 not working because you have not posted the command from your files to know that it exists or is not commented and has a valid command string and just what that is supposed to be. I am in the blind and I can’t make you do it, but if you want help I am so far willing to spend the time on, you will help yourself out some here.
You are not answering basic questions intended to give you help.
If it is a valid command, you can run it manually. If you can;'t, macro can’t either.
I can only be so patient. There are others that need help too. My time is free, but not endless.
It “doesn’t work” only because you don’t have it set up. The config file containing *76 mapped to link,6 by default is a Hamvoip thing. ASL is not Hamvoip.
People always ask what the DTMF string “is” in order to run a certain command - but they are asking the wrong question. While there are some default macros defined in most as-shipped copies of rpt.conf, they are different across the the varying distributions and versions of app_rpt. DTMF strings are just macros, or aliases, that run various Asterisk or shell commands.
There is no such thing as a set DTMF string for any command on any version of app_rpt, ASL, or Hamvoip. It is entirely dependent on what you have in your configuration file.
To make matters worse, others will respond with “it’s *76” or “it’s *806 in ASL3”, further perpetuating the idea that there are hard-set macros that will work on any system of a given type, which is incorrect.
It’s like asking “what’s the code to get into my house?” - nobody knows but you. You just have to know how your system is configured.
here is how you make it work guys.
*76 = rpt cmd yournodenumber ilink 11
Not quite the proper way to set it up, as the OP already figured out above, you’d want:
76 = ilink,6
that only disconnects certain ones. the 11 disconnects Permantly connected.
*76 does not work I know have tried.
