Hello, my name is Bryson with call sign KM6YMM. What I am trying to do is make a neighborhood allstarlink network, I have some people interested (They do have there callsigns) but I am stuck in the config phase. I am trying to avoid using the [nodes] stanza for adding private nodes. Instead I am trying to basically “clone” [register.allstarlink.org](http://register.allstarlink.org). I hope this makes sense. I want my users able to use the register command in iax.conf to be able to register to my server. I have posted my current config and what happens with this configuration is when I do \*7 it says nothing, not even connection failed. It says absolutely nothing, I sure hope the great community here can give me some tips on to what I am missing. Thank you very much! Configs are below.

Register server iax.conf:

Bryson,

\*7 is the beginning of many possible commands.

\*71 \<NODE #\> - Disconnect from NODE#
\*72 \<NODE #\> - Monitor Only NODE#
\*73 \<NODE #\> - Connect to NODE #

As it concerns not wanting to manually enter the private nodes… The node information has to be available to connect. Manually entering is much easier than setting up a server for a few nodes.

Sorry, that was a typo, I meant \*73, but I just now tried \*73\<node#\> and still, no response.
