On a different note, now that I switched to the beta repo, I don’t think I want to stay on beta repo. How do I switch back to stable?

sudo asl-repo-switch -l main
sudo apt update

If this is the fix, when do you think it will be moved to stable and released?

If we don't hear of any new issues, the packages will be likely be promoted sometime next week.

Sorry for the delay. I tested on my prod VM and its progress. It seems like the tailmessage is now playing. However, it also seems like the tailmessagetime=120000 is not working. The tail message plays, but only when the node ID’s, which is set to every 10 minutes, not the 2 minutes I have set for testing. This is fine, since I was going to set it to 10 minutes anyway. Its odd because the 2 minutes worked on the test VM. I’m not sure why the same isn’t working on my prod VM when the only difference is the test VM is Debian 13 and prod is still Debian 12.

I’m going to mark this as solved. Thanks for everyone’s help with this. I’ll keep my server on the beta until the next update, then switch it back to main.

Edit: Not sure what happened there. Immediately after I posted this the solution showed up. I thought I'd missed the solution and marked my message for deletion which caused the solution to disappear.
