Hi,

I have a ready-made board featuring the SA818 module and a WM8960 sound card (via I2S), along with SQL/COS and PTT control via GPIO; it plugs into the Raspberry Pi's 40-pin header and works perfectly with SvxLink. However, I want to use this hardware with AllStarLink 3. Is there a way to support it? I assume the sound card will work, as it is detected just like other cards (e.g., the CM108), but is there a method—perhaps using a Python 3 script—to pass RPi GPIO state changes (PTT and COS/SQL) to AllStarLink 3? My understanding is that AllStarLink doesn't natively monitor RPi GPIO pins for COS and PTT functions. Could a script like that send a "COS 1" or "COS 0" signal via an AMI connection to Asterisk so that AllStarLink knows the COS is active or PTT is engaged?

At this time, only CM108/109/119 audio chips work.

Hello @SP2ONG , I am curious. What is the the ready-made board you are using? I have just started building SVXLink nodes and would love to know. Thank you.

For SVLink, you can use SHARI (with sound cards based on CM1xx) [SHARI PiXX – Kits 4 Hams](https://kits4hams.com/shari) or [SHARI PiXX – Kits 4 Hams](https://kits4hams.com/shari) or [HotspotRadios](https://hotspotradios.com/purchase-parts) or RF.Guru boards [HotSpot](https://shop.rf.guru/collections/hotspot) (these are based on WM8960 sound cards) and I also have a board based on: [GitHub - SQ4RD/Hotspot-WM8960-Respeaker · GitHub](https://github.com/SQ4RD/Hotspot-WM8960-Respeaker)
SVXlink supports sound cards via ALSA and control can be via GPIO RPI or GPIO on CM1xx as in SHARI and HotspotRadios
Of course, it also works with tiles [Repeater Builder USB-RIM Lite](https://www.repeater-builder.com/products/usb-rim-lite.html)
