Remote node already in this mode (ASL3)

Hi all,

Have an issue with node that I have set up for people to connect to.

They all can connect just fine.

The problem I am having is I am not able to connect to my own nodes from a remote location. Specifically from a mobile hotspot. I can connect internally and I can connect to other nodes not on my network. I am getting Remote node already in this mode (ASL3).

I have searched the forum and for this and post are several years old.

Update,

I was able to resolve this. I am using Clearnodes and invoked the private node feature. Not understanding the private node feature so well I turned it on and it configured the nodes to allow me to connect internally on the on the same LAN. It also would not allow me to connect remotely.

So I disabled Private Nodes and it fixed my remote problem and i made the necessary additions to the rpt.conf file to allow me to connect the nodes internally.

All is back to normal.

I learned a lot.
