Need to be a little more specific. What is it your trying to do? Is it ASL3, Allmon3, or something else. Are you just trying to configure something and need your node number?

Hi.. sorry about question being vague but that was the heading but tried to write about the subject but it wouldnt let me expand my question. so the heading was sent off oops.

Ok..what i wanted to know was when i registered myself for allstar was i given a number like when i registered for dmr i had a dmr number given to me.

when i look on the allstarlink the only number is a 10 digit number, is that my number? they call it a pin number, what is that?

in the past few years i have been using dmr, fusion and dstar but now i want to use allstar. i have yesterday ordered a new allstar node from kits4hams. they are building it and should get it delivered here in the uk in a few days already set up ready to go.

I have a lot to learn!

Cheers, Derrick G0DLD

The 10-digit PIN is for the ASL Telephone Portal

But, more importantly, would be your AllStarLink node numbers. The "Server" and "Node" settings associated with your account can be viewed by clicking on the "Portal" link @ https://www.allstarlink.org

For more info, I'd walk through the ASL3 Manual, especially the "Getting Started" section.

I’d just like to add for new users (as this is probably the most frequent question I get): Node numbers are NOT issued automatically as part of opening an account; they must be requested separately on the webportal allstarlink.org.
