R1 Echolink Controller will it work?

Hi,

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I have a P1 Echolink Controller the PDF manual for it is here - http://avrtx.cn/download/R1/R1%20User%20Manual-V1.3-20191231-en.pdf

I have been trying to get it to work with my Pi Allstar node, I have tried loads of settings but just cannot figure it out, no PTT or RX!

Is this ever going to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Craig,

Welcome to the AllStarLink Community. The only dumb question is the one you ask too many times

There is a native way to run Echolink on AllStar. Take a look at this
https://wiki.allstarlink.org/wiki/Echolink_Channel_Driver

If that’s not helpful comeback and let us know.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, the issue isn’t getting on the Echolink network, the challenge is, can I use this board with Allstarlink software and if so what hardware setting would work.

Thanks,

Craig

Craig,

Well I did email the manufacture and ask them what sound chip they are using to see if it will work with Allstarlink.

To date I have not received a response back from them. It would probably be best to contact the guy who designed and built this unit and ask him directly.

Judging from no responses back from this forum. No one has used this device for Allstarlink.
