Password on initial start up?

I just downloaded and installed Allstar image ASL_1.01-201280228-armhf-raspian-stretch. When booting it up it ask for a login and password. I tried pi and raspberry like you do for most Linux installs but it did nt work. I tried my callsign and Allstar password and it did not work. Also root and root as some installations of Linux require. Still can’t get in. I need to run the setup for the node but can’t get in. ANyone tht can help I would appreciate it.
