Node drops after few seconds of transmitting

I'm running a Shari Pi on a Pi 3 and having issues where when I'm keyed up the connection is dropped like I un-key. I have tested internet speed and seems to be fine I don't think that is the issue. I'm wondering if it's an issue with the Pi or Sheri Pi or RF getting back in somewhere. Im transmitting from an HT on low power. I have use the mobile in the house from the outdoor antenna on low power 5W. Im at a lost not sure how to move forward.

Have you looked at any logs? simpleusb-tune?
