Prior to NNX node numbers were no longer than five digits. When a node is converted to NNX it becomes one digit longer, up to six digits. Remember, we’re using Asterisk, a PBX which supports phone numbers that are longer than our node numbers.

We’ve tested six digit node numbers and they work great.
