I can access my Allstar node locally on my LAN (192.168.1.xxx etc) or remotely over the WAN using iaxRPT, but cannot seem to setup two accounts on the client so that I select the routing I require (LAN or WAN) depending on where I am with my laptop at the time. The issue seems to be that you have to set the Account Name to the node number, but cannot use the same Account Name in two separate entries.
I noticed no one has helped your yet. Did you ever sort this out?
What you need to do is always connect to your public IP which you’re calling the WAN. For that you need to insure two things: 1) The public IP needs to not change or you need a dynamic host name from http://noip.com or another provider. 2) To connect to you’re public from your LAN you need to insure your router supports hairpin NAT.
