We use a bunch of mtr2000s in this configuration techno by George ara fob, you can order the connector on the back from mouser.

Don't forget to use a usb isolator. Adum3160

You are going to need to go into alignment menu and set the aux TX audio levels and discriminator level.

You can find the pin out on repeater builders website.

BEWARE THE PIN NUMBERS ON THE CONNECTOR FROM MOUSER AND THE ONE ON THE MTR2000 DO NOT LINE UP!

Discriminator audio out TX audio in turn off all audio processing including emphasis deemphesis. In the code plug i would also disable the time out timers etc.

All from that weird connector on the back I just pulled the extra pins out with a set of pliers.

I also have done it with a dmk uri.

The built in encoder uses a weird phase reverse that only works with Motorola radios resulting in a loud squelch crash at the end of the transmission on other radios, with usbradio u can use a chicken burst.

Oh and you want to set the receiver setting in the code plug to always on.
