I can connect to other allstar node via allmon2 and monitor the activity on the repeater but they could not hear me. I am transmitting into the repeater, received by the radio GM300. Do I need to reconfigure the pins on the GM300 board.
What is the setting of duplex in usbradio/simpleusb
and
duplex in rpt.conf
?
Would * be assuming correct… the gm300 is a simplex node as configured ?

Hi Mike, Thank you for responding. usbradio.config and rpt.config duplex were set to full duplex.
Let me tell you what my project is, not sure if this will work.
- GM300 with RIM-Maxtrac/GM300 is set up as Allstar Node to trigger the repeater with programmed frequencies RX and TX.
- I am triggering GM300 thru a repeater, MTR2K repeater using my HT.
- Currently, I can connect to a node and listen to the QSO, but they can not hear me or I can not trigger the connected node.
Will this set up work or I will not further go thru the project.
If I understand correctly from GM300 Information Page that both
JU551 and JU701 need to be in position “A”.
So, you are using a single gm300 as a transceiver/simplex node as seen from app_rpt/asl.
I need to know the exact setting as used in those files.
Do you see activity on Allmon when YOU keyup your repeater??
