I cannot locate relevant information on this error here or on Google.
On a single system I have a public node and a private node configuration. The private node will not connect to the public node, nor the public to the private. Both ways of connecting show the same “Cannot start dialtone” error.
What is strange is that these nodes have been connecting and working great for several months. It just stopped working. No changes have been made to the system or ASL. No other errors found in the log.
