ASL3 lockup issues

Both my nodes I upgraded to version 3 and I've already experienced issues with them. One of them a few weeks ago and one this morning lost audio. The first one actually locked up and had the repeater keyed up for some time. This morning, my local repeater was still keying but no audio.. the first one which is 60 miles to the West I had to drive to the site and do a power reboot

The one this morning I was able to remote into it via putty and I did reboot both the asterisk and then the server...no joy.... I guess it's going to have to take a total power down and reboot as well. Has anybody else had this problem? I never had this problem with version 2

You would have to provide logging information and other information to help troubleshoot/diagnose. There are thousands of ASL3-based nodes out there and there is not any sort of widespread lock-up issues of the type you're describing occuring.

Knowing what hardware you’re using would sure help…

Sounds more like a computer lock-up with few details provided.

CPU temp? Serial under-run? Things to check anyway.

Unless you can say you still had SSH access.

do sudo apt remove cockpit, we were having similar issues removing the cockpit package solved the problem.

Check your asterisk logs for congestion warnings, as these can also cause your symptoms.
