# ASL3 Anouncement Manager

"Please be advised that when attempting to install the Announcement Manager on a fully updated ASL3 system, the installer script conflicts directly with the new, stricter security directives enforced under the `asterisk` user account. As a result, the system triggers an 'Access Denied' error at the web level, preventing the application from modifying or updating the necessary deployment files inside the `/var/www/html/` directory."

can you please expound on this as I just minutes ago installed onto a brand new node and had no issues

what exactly did you encounter and when, how did you attempt to install this? all information will be appreciated. thanks

my program doesn't call the asterisk user account at all.
