# ASL2 on proxmox - can't connect to any other Node, where to start?

Hi, i’m using asl2 beta downloaded from [here](https://downloads.allstarlink.org/ASL_Images_Beta/Intel-AMD/asl-2.0.0-beta.6-kc1kcc-20210324-amd64.hybrid.iso)

since i don’t have public IP, i am not expecting someone to connect on my node. but whenever i try to connect some nodes, i always get connection failed messages over iax.

i’m open for troubleshooting tips and guidelines.

Are the nodes you are attempting to connect allstar public nodes ?  
You did not say what you were connecting to, public or private.  
Kinda need more info to know where to look.
